i'm a motivated rising junior studying Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Princeton, drawn to the intersection of technology, physics, and the ambition to push the limits of what's possible. whether it's harnessing light at the femtosecond scale or optimizing airflow around a rocket or airfoil, i'm interested in the science of extremes.

this summer i'm deep in research with ultrafast lasers -- which, even after a month in the lab, still feels like dystopian science fiction. i'm working with professor julia mikhailova and mentor arunava das on the compression of strong-field pulses with hollow-core fibers and demonstrating their use in writing and reading data in nitrogen-vacancy centers within diamond lattice, a quasi-classical window into quantum optics i never imagined to find myself in.
our work builds off the achievements and discoveries of the likes of Ferenc Krauz, Pierre Agostini, Paul Corkum, and Anne L'Huillier.

flipping through the pages of the national geographic kids magazine in the winter of 2012, six year-old me was flabbergasted by visuals of the curiosity rover landing scrawled across the pages in vivid detail. i told myself, "i'm gonna do that someday."
thus my love for space was born.
as my eyes were opened to the limitless disciplines within mechanical & aerospace engineering after freshman year of college, i began (and still continue) to seek experiences in as many fields as i could, through extracurriculars and research.

competing at the Division 1 level for princeton after walking on from the club team. it's taught me more about pressure, teamwork, and managing time than almost anything else.
you'll find me trekking up some mountain with my siblings or my close friends. it's interesting how walking becomes so much more fun when put in the context of a beautiful hike.
i've found that offloading stress from my brain to my body (in a responsible manner) is the best way to maximize both intellectual and physical growth. lifting with friends that really push you to your limit is the best.
bruno mars? nujabes? luciano pavarotti? meovv? justin beiber? yeah i listen to them all and more. if i'm not humming a tune 24/7, it's not me.
ayce korean bbq and burger spots HATE to see me walk in. rest assured, i always get my money's worth and more.
